Kingslake is set in the heart of Devon’s unspoilt countryside. From the cottages there are wonderful views of woodland, lovely undulating farmland, the fishing lakes or the tranquil water garden.
We are able to offer you a high standard of self-catering accommodation. A choice of a one, two or three bedroom cottage or two or three bedroom lodges overlooking the lakes. All are tastefully furnished and decorated, with a full sized cooker, fridge, toaster, electric kettle etc. as well as colour TV, central heating and gas or electric fires for those cooler summer evenings. Each cottage has their own patio or garden and all have a barbecue and patio furniture.
Situated in a peaceful Devon valley halfway between Hatherleigh and Holsworthy; 15 miles inland from Bude. A Coarse fishing paradise close to Dartmoor and Cornwall with lakeside lodges or cottages offering luxury accommodation.
We can also cater for a small number of Caravans and tents for those holidaymakers who wish to tour the area.

Kingslake has four well stocked lakes; Two Carp lakes one with fish up to 20+lbs and one to 16+lbs, A Tench lake with tench to 7.25lbs and one mixed lake with carp, tench, roach to 3.5lbs, bream & dace.
Bait & tactics:
For Carp: worms, luncheon meat, boilies, floating crust & pedigree chum mixer. Best sport around margins and islands.
Mixed Lake: Bread punch, maggots, luncheon meat and sweet corn.
Tench: Sweet corn, luncheon meat and maggots.
Lake season: All year round
