PRIME FLY FISHING FOR RAINBOW TROUT AND BROWN TROUT FROM ROWING BOATS
Haddo Trout Fishery is the ideal location for a great day’s fly fishing. The loch is surrounded by the mixed woodland of Haddo Estate. It is peaceful, scenic and sheltered.
The banks are allowed to grow naturally and provide a habitat for abundant wild life. Numerous insects find their way on to the water, providing plenty of natural feed. This abundant feed will ensure continued growth of healthy, hard fighting rainbow trout and good sport for the angler.
Fishing is from quality rowing boats which are suitable for two anglers and buoyancy aids are provided for your safety.
The fishery covers over six acres and will be stocked regularly with premium quality rainbow trout. The fish will be mainly in the two to four pound range in weight, but don’t go too light on the nylon as there will also be some bigger ones!
You will also come across some first class brown trout in the loch. Please return these carefully
