New Melones Lake, Tuolumne / Angels Camp, CA
New Melones is a great lake to fish for Kokanee salmon, Rainbow & Brown trout, Large & Smallmouth bass, Bluegill & Crappie. There are three launching facilities. Two are located at Glory Hole Sports and one at Tuttletown.
During Kokanee season you can find the kokes around Rose Island, the dam & spillway, Glory Hole Point and around the 49 bridge.
