<p>The park is located on Del Valle Road, just a few miles south of Interstate 580 in Livermore.</p>
<p>Fishing is excellent at Del Valle Lake. Regular trout plants take place from October through May by the California Department of Fish and Game.</p>
<p>Other species of fish include Black Bass, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Stripper Bass, Sturgeon, Salmon, Crappie, Bluegill and variety of pan fish which bite throughout the year.</p>
