I hope you enjoy viewing this website. It is primarily about fishing for catfish and bass in Clear Lake, located in Northern California about 60 miles from the coast.

The predominant fish species in the lake are: Largemouth Bass; Channel Catfish; White Catfish; Brown Bullheads; White Crappie; Black Crappie; Bluegill and the ever popular Carp.

The park is located on Del Valle Road, just a few miles south of Interstate 580 in Livermore.

Fishing is excellent at Del Valle Lake. Regular trout plants take place from October through May by the California Department of Fish and Game.

Catfish, crappie, sunfish, blue gill and carp are among the other fish species found in Don Pedro Reservoir.

The Don Pedro Recreation Agency has been stocking Florida strain Black Bass in the lake on an annual basis since the early 1980s.

Striped Bass are the dominant species in New Hogan Reservoir. You can see fish boiling all over the lake. The best method of catching Stripers on New Hogan is to find the boiling Stripers.

No watercrafts allowed, shore fishing only. Typicaly windy so moss & weeds arent over grown. Rattle traps are gold out there! Can catch stripped bass all day! Bluegill is good in the canals that run with the road. Use small nightcrawlers, no bobbers.
